## Experience

### Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst — fintech platform — 2025 > now

- Delivered an investment workflow built around a third-party CRM from fragmented requirements and a legacy system through a signed fixed-scope proposal, development, UAT, and production
- Used accounting knowledge to define fund workflows, including portfolios, ownership changes, offsets, and accounting data
- Built the team's business understanding and established a requirements hierarchy from WBS and business requirements to user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery validation
- Owned backlog, estimates, refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, approvals, decision logs, scope changes, and change control
- Defined field mappings, API payloads, permissions, data migration, security, and audit-log requirements for the workflow
- Validated performance changes through spikes and proof-of-concept tests in production-like environments before implementation
- Acted as Product Owner for the client and proposed scoped product and performance improvements beyond the initial requirements

### Product Manager / Product Operations — IaC & cloud orchestration B2B SaaS — 2022 > 2025 (promoted from PM/PO)

- Set roadmap priorities through direct work with customer CEOs, CTOs, Product Managers, and Business Analysts; aligned pricing, UX, and service packaging with the goal of increasing VM and related-service sales
- Defined product analytics and used configuration and usage data to guide product changes, including reusable templates for common VM configurations
- Took an S3 Object Storage product from a one-sentence request to launch; defined file browsing, object versioning, billing, and GTM, and set pricing through customer interviews, market research, and internal margin data
- Built a Revenue Intelligence product for enterprise customers and large resellers by reusing the existing billing component; defined financial reporting, forecasts, and cost-center views
- Expanded the disaster recovery and backup offering with multi-cloud VM replication and file-level restore; defined product scope, technical solution, pricing, and launch requirements
- Introduced global keyboard-driven search across devices, networks, users, and logs; internal analytics showed regular use by almost 90% of users
- Redesigned the dashboard around pinned devices, resource cost distribution, and backup-protection status; surfaced unprotected VMs to support backup adoption
- Rebuilt VM monitoring around VMware events instead of in-VM agents and workers; improved reliability and reduced the guaranteed update interval from 60 to 15 seconds
- Shipped VM cloning, tags, labels, and guided provisioning; reduced creation steps and clarified controls and VM creation progress
- Rebuilt permissions as RBAC and added feature flags, two-factor authentication, session controls, audit logs, IP blocking, and organization-level security policies
- Worked with the CISO on security reviews, audits, certification work, and SOC 2 preparation; shipped an auditable legal-document acceptance system and coordinated Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions updates
- Owned GTM materials, product demos, release notes, sales and support enablement, onboarding, staged rollouts, backward compatibility, migrations, rollback plans, and customer communication
- Ran release and incident operations, bug triage, and postmortems; documented ISO 9001/27001 processes and released without critical production defects
- Managed and hired a five-person cloud engineering team; ran one-on-ones, mentoring, three-week sprint planning, retrospectives, and conflict resolution
- Owned capacity, resource, and budget planning; reported roadmap and delivery status to leadership and created the company-wide product operations playbook

### Project Manager / Product Owner — IaC & cloud orchestration B2B SaaS — early 2022 (promoted to Product Manager)

- Planned and ran feature release projects: scope, requirements, timelines
- Owned the feature backlog; kept stakeholders and developers aligned
- Built the Postman API documentation from scratch and maintained documentation for multiple API versions, including authentication guides, schemas, request and response examples, and error handling
- Migrated the API documentation from v1 to v2; documented changes, version differences, and migration paths
- Wrote task-based API guides that took external developers from setup through implementation and version migration; API usage increased and related support demand decreased after the update
- Built a docs-as-code workflow with Markdown, Git, pull requests, CI/CD publishing, a documentation generator, automated checks, and linting
- Built the internal wiki as the source of truth for product and project information
- Standardized project documentation and templates so subject-matter experts could focus on their work instead of document structure and formatting

### Technical Writer > Documentation Operations Lead — real estate SaaS — 2019 > 2022 (official title: Product Communications Lead)

- Defined the product tone of voice, writing style, content standards, and reusable documentation templates
- Acted as the final editor for product documentation, support content, release communication, and interface copy
- Maintained 4 product help centers, 300+ articles
- Built release communications for the Canadian market expansion and ongoing launches; received no post-release customer complaints
- Produced task-based user guides, videos, and product tours that reduced support demand
- Edited interface copy and sourced technical information from subject-matter experts
- Documented internal and technical processes, including code-related concepts, for product, engineering, support, and operations teams
- Designed information architecture and documentation governance for shared knowledge across departments
- Built internal knowledge bases, ownership rules, review workflows, freshness checks, deprecation rules, SME approvals, and release checks
- Assigned and reviewed work for instructional designers and copywriters
- Migrated hundreds of articles across Intercom, Zendesk, and Salesforce while preserving redirects, permissions, images, and formatting
